This is how my just-before-bedtime chat with Emma went this evening..
A: Emma, time to get your jammies on!
E: NO WAY JOSE!
A: Uh... Huh?
E: NO WAY JOSE!
A: Who is Jose? And where did you meet him?
E: At the office.
A: What does he do at the office?
E: He works with me.
A: I'd like to meet him.
E: You would like him. He's very nice. And friendly.
A: Does Esther know Jose?
E: Yes. She works at the office too.
A: Maybe Jose could come and play at the park with you & Esther?
E: Ummm... but he's a boy...
And my daughter is such SUCH a girl!

hee hee my 3-year old is very anti-boy. I can't figure it out. My 5 year old isn't, but her little sister is just not into boys. It kinda cracks me up. My DH is not so amused.
Well, they say this is the age for invisible friends.
Seriously? You need to just stick one of those reality TV cameras on Emma's head and start an Internet feed. Because she could totally become my new addiction, and you could totally be rich frmo it.
