Tonight I thought I'd be a nice mother (unlike the bitch I normally am), and give Emma a little treat.
She was playing upstairs in her 'house' and I figured it would be nice to bring her a little room service snack of Funshines. So for the first time ever, I delivered her cookies on a saucer. I was curious to see what she'd do with it.
She accepted it with both hands, dumped the cookies on the floor, looked at the empty plate, and announced "DONE".
