So we went to the doctor today for Emma's 3 month check-up (even though she's 3 months & 13 days, but who's counting?). Turns out she didn't put much weight on since last month - she's only at 10.4 lbs (5th percentile) - just a bit heavier than a bag of potatoes. But when you're lugging a bag of potatoes around all day, every day, well you find out quickly that a bag of potatoes is HEAVY. Particularly when your bag is barfing all the time. (Hmm.. wonder if that has something to do with slow weight gain?) Anyhow, at the start of month 4 (okay, maybe sooner) we're going to start feeding her rice cereal. RICE CEREAL. Mmmm.... how exciting. Apparently Nestle is better than Heinz. Seems the Heinz is bland - can you imagine? Bland rice cereal? It'll pale next to the oh-so-delicious grape Tylenol (TM). Now that one went over real well. Really.
She has also grown to 59 cm. long. And everything else checks out fine. The doctor said I shouldn't get too excited about her blue eyes - there is still a good chance they can turn to my blah brown. Sorry Em.
