Happy V-Day!

Reasons why I'm a good Valentines Day date:
-made you your favourite breakfast (3 eggs - cooked perfectly, extra bacon, fresh sourdough bread toast, grilled tomatoes with melted asiago cheese and a touch of basil);
-went out to get some Montreal bagels (sadly, Montreal bagels are way better than Toronto ones - fortnately I don't have to go to Montreal to get them) and on my way home stopped off to get you your favourite Starbucks coffee (Venti Mocha Valencia with whipped cream);
-Bar-B-Que'd dinner for you in sub-zero Toronto weather (beautiful, extra thick beef tenderloin - also cooked to perfection, grilled veggies (only your favourites - none of the usual fillers), baked potato (oops - forgot to pick up bacon bits!), your favourite salad, and a selection of desserts - two chosen with you in mind, one with me in mind;
-was really nice to you all day;
-bought you two new pairs of jeans;
-in your car, on Monday morning before you left for work, surprised you with a heart-shaped box of your favourite chocolates - ferraro roche (sp??) , and a gift certificate to a day at the spa
-didn't say anything when you didn't give me anything at all (but was very happy that you assisted in turning the bbq on and off)

*editors note: I have since been informed that a v-day gift was purchased for me, but is currently on order - should arrive in 3 days. Will keep you posted.
